Proxies for market research
A market looks different from inside it. Catalogues, reviews and rankings change with the visitor's country, and sites limit anyone who reads too many pages from one address.
Which proxy is best for market research?
For market research, use rotating residential proxies with country targeting. They let a program read public pages, such as reviews, listings and catalogues, as local visitors see them in each market, without any one address being limited.
Read each market from within
Set the country in the username and the site serves its local version: local sellers, local reviews, local currency.
Volume decides the plan
Research jobs fetch many small pages. Country-level targeting is enough for most of them, so the lower-priced residential pool usually fits. For sites reachable over IPv6, the IPv6 plans cost less again.
Keep the pace polite
Spread requests over time as well as over addresses. Collect public pages only, and follow the law on personal data wherever you and the site are.
