Proxies for social media management

An agency that runs accounts for ten clients from one office sends all ten through one IP address. Platforms read that as one person with ten accounts. A proxy per account gives each one a home of its own.

Which proxy is best for managing social media accounts?

For managing several social media accounts, give each account its own sticky residential or mobile proxy in the account owner's country. The account then signs in from one steady, local IP address every day, which is what a platform expects from a real user.

One account, one address

Add a session ID to the username and keep that ID for one account only. The account comes back from the same IP address each time, in the same country, the way its owner would.

Mobile for platforms built around phones

Apps that people use mostly on their phones see mostly carrier addresses. A mobile proxy fits in with that traffic; a residential one costs less and is enough for most desktop work.

Match the browser to the address

A proxy changes the IP address and nothing else. Use a separate browser profile per account, with a time zone and language that agree with the proxy's country.

Stay inside the platform's rules

Managing real accounts for real clients is ordinary agency work. Fake engagement, bulk sign-ups and coordinated inauthentic behaviour are against every platform's terms and against our acceptable use policy.
