PiratProxies

Troubleshooting

Start with the test button on your plan page. It sends a request through your proxy from our side, which tells you whether the problem is the plan or your setup.

407 Proxy Authentication Required

  • Check the username and password for stray spaces, and that the password belongs to this plan.
  • If you just replaced the password, wait two minutes for the new one to start working.
  • Check the plan still has traffic or time left on its page.

The connection times out

  • Check the host and the port: HTTP and SOCKS5 use different ports, and each proxy type has its own host.
  • Some networks block unusual outgoing ports. Try from another network or a server.
  • For IPv6 proxies, the site you are reaching must support IPv6.

The exit IP is in the wrong country

  • Country codes are two letters in lowercase, such as country-de.
  • State and city only work on Residential, and need the country too.
  • IP location databases disagree with each other. Check with more than one before deciding the proxy is wrong.

The IP changes when I wanted it to stay

  • Reuse exactly the same session value on every request.
  • Check the order of the session and time pieces for your proxy type in Targeting and sessions.
  • A home or mobile connection can drop. When it does, the session moves to a new IP.

A site still blocks me

No proxy type gets through everywhere. Move up a step: from datacenter to residential, from residential to mobile. Slow your request rate and send normal browser headers.
