Targeting and sessions
Everything is set in the username. You add short pieces after it, joined by hyphens, and the network reads them on each connection.
The pieces

country-us | Exit country, as a two-letter code. See locations. |
state-california | State or region, full name in lowercase. Residential only, and needs a country. |
city-losangeles | City, lowercase with no spaces. Residential only, and needs a country. |
session-a1b2c3d4 | Eight characters of your choosing. Reuse the same value to keep the same IP; change it to get a new one. |
time-600 | How long to keep the IP, in seconds. On mobile it is time-short or time-long instead. |
A new IP on every request
Leave out the session and the time. With only a country, or nothing at all, each connection gets a different IP.
The same IP for a while
Add a session and a time. The order of the pieces differs between proxy types, so copy the pattern for yours:

You do not have to write these by hand. The generator on each plan page builds them, for one proxy or a thousand.
