Why CaptchaAI needs a proxy
Many sites tie a captcha token to the IP address that asked for it. If the service solves from its own address and you submit from yours, the token can be refused. Passing your proxy to the service makes both come from one address.
Which proxy to use
A residential proxy with a sticky session.
What to enter
A PiratProxies plan gives you four things: a host, a port, a username and a password. These are the values for Residential; the username and password are on your plan page.
| Host | resi.piratproxies.com |
|---|---|
| HTTP port | 8080 |
| SOCKS5 port | 1080 |
| Username | USERNAME |
| Password | from your plan page |
The country and the session are chosen in the username, not in a separate setting. The generator on your plan page writes the username for you, and Targeting and sessions explains each part.
Steps
- Send the task the same way as to 2Captcha's
in.phpendpoint. - Add
proxy=USERNAME:PASSWORD@resi.piratproxies.com:8080andproxytype=HTTPto the request. - Submit the token through the same proxy with the same username.
Rotating or sticky
Use a sticky session, and give CaptchaAI exactly the same username you use for your own requests. The session ID in the username is what keeps both on one IP address. With a rotating username the token is solved from one address and submitted from another, and sites that check this reject it.
A sticky username looks like this:
USERNAME-country-us-time-600-session-a1b2c3d4If it does not work
- In a tool that only has a 2Captcha setting, enter CaptchaAI's address as the server and keep the proxy settings as they are.
- A
407error means the username or password was not accepted. Copy both again from your plan page, and check that nothing added a space or cut the username short. - If the IP address is in the wrong country, look at the username: the country code is part of it. More fixes.
Questions
Which PiratProxies proxy should I use with CaptchaAI?
A residential proxy with a sticky session.
CaptchaAI is a product of its own makers. PiratProxies is not affiliated with it; the name is used here only to say what this guide is about. Use it within the rules of the sites you work with and our acceptable use policy.
